Become a Pilot

A pilot course, also known as an airline pilot course, is a special aviation course that helps students to become pilots. This is a course which equips its students all the important skills and knowledge they need to fly aircraft safely. To become a pilot in India, students must first pass aviation related DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) exams. The pilot course includes both classroom learning and practical flying lessons. Students study topics like how airplanes work, weather patterns (meteorology), navigation, and important aviation rules. After learning these subjects, students also get practical experience by flying simulators and real planes.

Once the students are done with the exams, the next step is to join a flight training institute to complete the flying training. This hands-on training is necessary to gain enough 200-hour flying hours to get a pilot license.
